What is the TMF - Trier Music Festival?
The TMF Trier Music Festival is an annual music festival that covers a wide range of genres within electronic dance music, from hardstyle to bigroom and electro. The event takes place at Messepark Trier.

The application period was from 16.03.2026 to 27.03.2026. Payment will be made between 30.03.2026 and 02.04.2026.
When and where will the TMF - Trier Music Festival 2027 take place?
The festival will take place on March 20, 2027 in the Messehalle Trier.
What is the minimum age for the Trier Music Festival?
Admission to the Trier Music Festival is possible from the age of 16. (Admission only with valid identity card)
Admission for 16- and 17-year-olds only with a valid parental certificate:
Admission is only permitted when accompanied by a parent or guardian. In addition, the official TMF "Muttizettel" must be completed and presented.
Admission - even before midnight - is not permitted without an accompanying person and a parental note.

The accompanying person must be at least 18 years old and may supervise a maximum of 2 people.
Where can I buy tickets for the festival?
Tickets are available exclusively via our official website TMF-Festival & Ticketmaster.
Are there food options on the festival grounds?
Yes, there will be an area with food stands. Please note that it is not permitted to bring your own food and drink.
Is it allowed to bring food and drinks?
No, you are not allowed to bring your own food and drink. However, there are food and drink stands on site.
Smoking on the festival site
Is smoking allowed on the festival grounds? Smoking is not permitted in the hall. However, there is a special smoking tent for smokers. Cigarettes can be purchased on the grounds.
What about local public transport?
The ticket price includes a VRT ticket, which allows free use of public transport in the VRT area.
Is there a checkroom at the festival?
Yes, there will be a checkroom on site.
Is the festival barrier-free?
Yes, the event is barrier-free to ensure access for all visitors.
What happens when I leave the festival grounds?
Please note that for security reasons it is not possible to re-enter after you have left the festival grounds.
How does the payment system work at the festival?
TMF is cashless! You can recharge your bracelet at Top Up stations.
Can I use cash on the festival site?
No, the festival uses a cashless payment system. However, cash can be used to top up your wristband at the Top Up stations.
Is there support for visitors who need help?
Yes, an awareness team is in place to ensure a safe and supportive environment for all visitors.
